My experience working in digital marketing has taught me a lot about Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I can conduct keyword research, perform SEO audits, advise and strategize on SEO next steps – to name but a few of my skills.
What is SEO?
Put simply, SEO is a digital marketing technique that increases organic traffic to your website through gaining higher rankings in search engine results pages (SERPS).
Why do I need SEO?
There are often a variety of reasons why a business needs to focus on improving their search engine optimization, here’s a few common ones:
- You want to increase the amount of traffic to your website
- You want to connect with people searching for information about products or services that relate to your business
- You want to increase brand visibility
How do you do SEO?
SEO is a complex beast. There is no strict way to ensure a website ranks better. After all, Google (allegedly) has over 200 ranking factors and adhering to all of them would be a long and complex task. Each client I’ve worked with has had different needs and I tailor my SEO work to suit individual projects.
Here are some methods I use when working with clients:
- Concise keyword research
- On-page optimization
- Off-page optimization
- Utilising content marketing
- Utilising content strategy
- Corrolating social media channels
- Link building
- Backlink analysis
- Technical SEO
I only use ethical and transparent SEO techniques – you won’t find any quick fixes or “black hat” tactics here.
SEO takes patience and results won’t happen overnight. We’ll continually work together to improve your website’s organic search traffic, build awareness of your brand and grow your customer base.
